Not only did Samsung announced the Galaxy Note 2 in IFA, they also beat Nokia to unveiling the first Windows Phone 8 handset — the Samsung ATIV S.
Samsung’s announcement of the Ativ S WP8 is breaking a lot of records for a Windows Phone handset.

The Ativ S will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 processor (Krait) at 1.5GHz dual-core with 1GB RAM. The 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display has a 720p resolution, 16GB or 32GB internal storage expandable by another 32GB via microSD card.
The handset also has NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, 8MP camera and 2300mAh Li-Ion battery. No price or release date was indicated.

Hmm. i’ll keep an eye on this one and Nokia. They say that you dont need zune just to put your media in your phone. I like the design slim, metalic texture.
