The Bureau of Customs (BOC) and Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) has just implemented the eTravel QR code.

This was made to provide an easier, seamless experience with immigration and customs clearance processing. As of last week, the rollout of the new e-Travel Customs System is now complete across all international airports nationwide.
In addition, the BOC noted that individuals must present their passports to immigration officers for e-Travel registration confirmation. Likewise, their QR codes must also go through a customs officer for clearance before departure or upon arrival.
“In the past, separate QR Codes were generated for the Bureau of Immigration and Bureau of Customs purposes. However, following the recent system update, the BOC is now fully integrated with e-Travel. As a result, only one QR Code is now generated, which encompasses all declaration requirements for Immigration, Quarantine, and Customs”, said the BOC said to GMA News Online last Friday.
Interested readers can now visit their website at etravel.gov.ph 70 for more information. But aside from their official site, you may also fill out the electronic Customs Baggage Declaration Form (e-CBDF) and the electronic Currencies Declaration Form (e-CDF) via the eGovPH mobile app 10 within 3 days before departure or arrival.
