Google has released their application called Nearby Share for beta back in March. Today, the app is officially available to download in Windows.

Google’s Nearby Share allows users to share files through their phones, tablets, Chromebooks and more. The company has now expanded to support their Windows PCs to share with nearby Android devices. This lets users to share files without the need of a cable or cord.
According to Google, they have seen over 50 million file transfers used with Nearby Share. They have also stated that they are working with HP to preinstall Nearby Share on select Windows PCs like the HP Dragonfly Pro.
