Instagram will soon let you pin posts on your Instagram Profile

Just like Twitter and TikTok, Instagram may soon let you pin your favorite posts on the top of your profile.

It is no secret that pinning posts have been out for quite some time now on social media platforms with pinned videos on TikTok and pinned tweets on Twitter. Instagram also allows you to pin your stories on your profile by adding them as story highlights so that they may live on after it expires on your feed. But now you may soon pin specific posts on your Instagram profile above your photo grid which should help highlight specific posts you’d want to showcase.

Meta confirmed to TechCrunch that the feature is currently under testing and may appear in some users’ profiles. Evidence of the feature was also noticed by Alessandro Paluzzi, a reverse engineer who had taken notice of the feature way back in January. Those who are lucky enough to have access to it early will see a “Pin to your profile” option from the familiar three dots menu next to each post.
