Folks, we have another biggie from Lenovo. This time, they decided to up the ante by packing their latest brainchild, the P770 with a whopping 3500mAh battery.
As some of you may know, the P770 comes from a reputable lineage of smartphones with enormous battery pack (P700 and P700i). But unlike its predecessors, the P770 has a slightly bigger screen at 4.5-inch with a slightly better resolution (960 x 540).
This Jelly bean handset sports a dual-core 1.2GHz processor coupled with a gigabyte of RAM and a standard 4GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB via Micro-SD. It also has a pair of cameras, 5MP on the rear and VGA at the front.
But the biggest story here is the P770’s 3500mAh battery which is said to last for up to 26 days on Stand-by or equivalent to 29 hours of talk time.
Lenovo P770 specs:
4.5” IPS qHD display 960×540 pixels, 244ppi
1.2GHz dual-core processor
1GB RAM
4GB internal storage
up to 32GB via microSD
3G/HSPA, dual-SIM, dual standby
WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
Bluetooth 2.0
GPS w/ aGPS support
5MP rear camera w/ built-in flash
VGA front-facing camera
3500mAh battery
Android 4.1
Dimension: 133 x 67 x 11.9mm
Weight: 161g
The Lenovo P770 is now available in China and retails for CNY1,699 or a little over PhP11,000. There’s still no word when the handset will land to our shores, but I can already smell some prospective buyers aiming to grab this unit once it does.

@Rei_Bugz me OTG cable na included sa package, i saw it last night, i was planning to get one na pero i hesitate and need to see some reviews pa to be sure of what im buying at.
does the P770 support support OTG?
laggy ang temple run at subway surfer sa cloudfone 430x.. at mabilis xa malobat ..prang di 22ong 4160mah .. at yung camera di gnun kganda.. mas mganda pa lenovo p700 kysa cloud thrill..
does it have a dedicated camera key like the p700?
kita nyo n eto http://www.librengads.com/ads/ad-category/buy-and-sell/mobile-phone-accessories/
Does this have mobile hotspot?
san my available ng cloudfone thrill?
now i’m torn between this and the Cloudfone Thrill 430x hahahaha
Konti na lang, bawasan lang ang bigat. swak na to! hehe
^
4160 mAh battery is not overkill.
I can easily drain the cloudfone’s battery since I’m always connected to 3G. :)
Cloudfone Weight: 430g :(
How about this Lenovo?
Oh 161g only pala :)
Sorry Lenovo. Where were you? But you were beaten with a huge margin by Cloudfone. Yours is just a mere 3500 mAh battery as compared to 4160 mAh for Cloudfone Thrill 430x.
Slap the CM brand in there and this thing will cost P8-9K. Then,P6-7K after a few months.
Will save my money for this monster! Can’t wait!
finally a lenovo with built in flash!
sana meron na this coming 1st week ng december.
mukhang 5MP lang cam nito, hindi 8MP
i would prefer this over the thrill 430x. battery on that thing is overkill for someone who lives in the city. not to mention the massive heft on that thing,14.2 mm thick and 182 grams. also with lenovo atleast you have peace of mind with aftersales support.
Cloudfone 430x can last 2 days heavy gaming (4-6hrs a day) & wi-gi 3-5hrs a day)
Guys check this out! Hope yugatech will do a review of the monster phone!
Cloudfone Thrill 430x Price Php 7,777,

pataasin nyo pa. make it 6500mah for 4.7inch IPS display! :D
Wow! Monster battery! I hope Samsung could catch up with the likes of Lenovo and Motorola who makes longer lastting batteries for their phones… My Samsung Galaxy SIII after a full charge in 7am in the morning, its only 20% at around 4pm. So I charge again… I ‘m a heavy user and my mobile data is always on 24/7.
If you switch over to 2G (instead of 3G), use wifi when data is needed and lower the max brightness of the screen… you could extend your s3 battery life.
OR you could try looking for those 3rd party extended battery for the s3. There is one for the s2, I assume there should be one for the s3 by now.
