Maxim has joined the motorcycle taxi market in the Philippines, participating in a pilot project to develop this mode of transportation.
The company announced that users can now avail their motorcycle taxi riding services via their mobile app. The Maxim MotoTaxi service offers professionally-trained riders by the company itself via their training center.
As a developing means of transportation, Maxim offers a cheaper alternative offering rides around Metro Manila starting at Php 50. In addition, passengers are also insured in the event of road accidents.
Readers can get the Maxim app now from the Google Play Store, Apple’s App Store, or from their website. Their launch comes with an ongoing promo giving passengers Php 300 to spend on rides.
You can also enter the code ‘RIDE’ via the app’s Promo Code option in the app menu to avail a 10% discount.
Maxim has also launched a taxi car service, having secured a TNC license and a car transportation permit. The company claims that they offer lower cost in comparison to their competitors due to the cheaper booking fee.
The taxi car service is currently available in Bacolod, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iligan, Iloilo, and Manila.
