Meta AI is coming to the Philippines soon

Listen to article

Meta AI is coming to the Philippines. The service can be accessed through meta.ai 182 for browsers and Meta’s apps. These include Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

Users just have to tap the circular icon or type @Meta AI to start a conversation. The platform can use different AI-powered voices that users may interact with. For those wondering, the platform offers support for English and Tagalog languages.

Meta notes that their service is positioned to become the most used AI assistant by the end of the year. In other words, the platform believes that it’ll have 500 million active users monthly by then.

At the time of writing, an article from TechCrunch 22 noted the service should be available in the Philippines as of today. However, there seems to be a delay in the rollout.

This is a developing story, so we’ll update readers once it’s widely available.
