Philippines Fall to 3rd Place in Pornhub Traffic Rankings for 2024

Listen to article

And it’s that time of the year again! The Philippines has slipped to 3rd place in Pornhub’s 2024 Year in Review, dropping from last year’s silver medal-worthy 2nd place.

It’s a slight dip, but hey, we’re still on the podium, right? Even with the drop, Pinoys remain among the most loyal visitors, proving once again that Filipinos really know how to “support” their favorites.

Mobile is still king in the Philippines, with a staggering 97% of traffic coming from smartphones—because let’s be honest, who needs desktops when your phone is always within reach?

While engagement time is slightly shorter this year, Pinoys still rank among the longest viewers globally. Alam na this, dedication is key.

“Pinay” continues to dominate as the most searched term, followed closely by “Pinoy,” “Japanese,” and “Hentai.” But what stood out this year are terms like “Pinay dirty talk” and “Hentai anime,” which climbed the ranks.

It’s clear we’re not just sticking to the basics anymore—Pinoys are exploring new “genres,” ika nga.

The top categories got a shake-up too, with “Hentai” dethroning “Japanese” for the top spot, reflecting the global craze for animated content.

Local talent also got a boost as Filipina creator Sharinami (mamaya mo na google) made it to the top-searched performers, a welcome change from 2023, where no Local Creator made the cut. Finally, some representation, di ba?

Though France’s Olympics traffic edged us out of 2nd place, the Philippines remains a top player, showing the world how it’s done (eey!) —whether it’s through sheer engagement or trending searches.

Bawi tayo next year ulit! (We cover this yearly but we added slight humor this year. :)))
