Xiaomi has announced its latest smart TV under the Redmi brand, the Smart TV Max 98″.
The Smart TV Max 98 runs on Xiaomi’s PatchWall AI TV system, and as the name suggests, it has a 93-inch UHD LCD. The panel covers 85% of the NTSC gamut, runs on 60Hz, and supports HDR thanks to its 192 zone local dimming. It also supports MEMC motion compensation, and Dolby and DTS decoding thanks to its four large cavity speakers.
A quad-core Cortex A55 chipset powers the Smart TV Max 98, with a Mali-G31 GPU paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It supports dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth, and Infrared.
As for ports, it has three HDMI ports, an AV port, an analog DTMB, two USB ports, an ethernet port, and an S / PDIF port.
The Redmi Smart TV Max 98 will be available in China on April 9 for CNY 20,000 or around PHP 144,000.
