Lazada has recently partnered with UnionBank to launch its debit card for online shoppers, the Lazada Debit Card.
After the release of the Lazada Credit Card in August, they have officially released a new debit card. It gives shoppers perks such as Lazada credits, allowing them to earn two Lazada Credits for every PHP 200 spent on Lazada purchases and bills payments, and 1 Lazada Credit for every PHP 200 spent on other purchases and transactions. It also lets shoppers enjoy discounts on Lazada as well as to access its exclusive sales.
It comes with a virtual card which the user may view in the app. This allows shoppers to transact online even without a credit card.
Users can open an account on their mobile phones through the UnionBank app. Users just need to complete the form and upload valid IDs on the app. There are no initial deposits or maintaining balance required. Users may also deposit cash at any 7-Eleven store or through its over 8,000 partner merchants nationwide.
