Acer added another model into their Aspire One line-up and it now comes with the new Pine Trail processor claiming longer battery life. The Acer Aspire One 532h looks like the same 10-incher we’ve seen in the D250.
Spotted on the Acer website is the refreshed Aspire One with Pine Trail CPU.
Acer Aspire One 532h
10.1″ screen @ 1024×600 pixels
Intel Atom N450 1.67GHz Pine Trail
Intel GMA 3150
160GB or 250GB HDD
1GB DDR2 RAM
WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
0.3MP webcam
Windows 7 Starter
The 5600mAh 6-cell Li-ion battery promises up to 10 hours of battery life. The Pine Trail system is already showing off its promise of better power efficiency here.
There’s an optional built-in 3G modem but like the previous Aspire One that came before this, I don’t think we’ll see those in the units that are shipped here. We’re not sure when this will hit the Philippines or how much it will cost (should be close to existing price of the D250).
Is this available in the Philippines? Anywhere? I really like this one.
Hi Yugatech, any new one the official launch of Acer Aspire One 532g? Some websites has some great impression on the new NDIVIA ION next generation of some sort. Can you help me out?
I am using an Acer aspire 4330. This is just a comment for Acer.
What I hate the most with Acer is that it comes only with two USB ports. Unfortunately, yung isang port ko, sira pa. Kainis. Kaya I only have one USB port. By the way, as I observed, many of Acer aspire if not all only have 2 USB ports.
Di ka tuloy makapaglagay ng ibang USB based support gadgets. I just hope Acer will add two more extra ports.
wow… new netbooks!!!:)
It this the netbook that supposed to be a tad shy of $300 bucks?
Hope they do have the same price point locally.
10 hrs battery life. nice!
Been wondrin why these netbooks are not equipped with internal 3g. Are the telcos controlling them? Hmm. Sir yuga, can you please review those netbooks coming from china? Yung mga galing sa shanzai dot com?

sana affordable yan tsaka matibay. Ang lappy ko kc one month na sa HP di ko pa nakukuha. 5 months pa lang kc bumigay na LCD. Buti may warranty pa.
We finally get pinetrail netbooks yay! I’m excited to see how the prices will fare with older aspire one models as I’ll be getting two netbooks for my student siblings.
