Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt: Quad-core tablet for Php3,999

So Cherry Mobile finally revealed that quad-core tablet which they’re been teasing us for a week now. It’s almost the same Ainol Venus but they called it the Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt.

The specs were slightly changed to a 1.0GHz quad-core instead of 1.5GHz and the internal storage is just 8GB instead of 16GB. This separates the Fusion Bolt from the regular Ainol Venus that’s out in the market.

Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt specs:
7-inch IPS LCD 720p HD display @ 1280×800 pixels
Actions Semiconductor ATM7025 ARM Cortex A9 1.0GHz quad-core
1GB DDR3 RAM
8GB internal storage
up to 32GB via microSD
WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
2MP rear camera
0.3MP front-facing camera
Li-Ion 4,000mAh battery
Android 4.1 Jellybean
186.2mm x 126.9mm x 10.8mm (dimensions)
320 grams (weight)

The most surprising part is that they will sell this tablet for only Php3,999. Not bad!

Release and availability is sometime in March 2013.

P.S. You can read our story about the quad-core CPU and dual-core GPU used in this tablet here.

Honestly this is the absolute max price that they can get away with charging for a rebranded chinese oem tablet. Any more and you’re better off saving for a Nexus 7.

I disagree. The nexus 7 may be the ultimate android tablet but at a third of its price, this baby will give you up to 90% of what the 7 can do. unbeatable.

Panalo na to. Better specs, better OS, better support compared to China clones at the same price category.

Pahirapan na nmn cguro ang availability ng stocks nito.

Yes this is great specs for 4k i don’t need high specs cam on tablet. I prefer high specs for phone/phablet. But this is good to buy it’s Quadcore and 1Gig ang that is a big wow for the price.

post ka din soon ng user review. Like ko malaman dian sa cherry device na yan kung gaano katagal battery on max use & if possible ba na gamitin siya ng naka-charge. So far sa nabili ko (eken) ranging that price di puede gamitin ng naka-charge.

Are you serious?!!!!? its a P3,999.00 quad core tablet with IPS 720p display and a gig of RAM! and you still complain about the 2mp and .03mp camera? Its a tablet! Who cares for the camera if you can have those specs in a very very low price..

    • Avatar for Ryan Ryan says:

      Buy a digicam instead. mofo!

    • Avatar for arcyu arcyu says:

Lol. Gagaya ka pa sa mga hunghang na gumagamit ng table pangkuha ng pictures.

    • Avatar for Marco Marco says:

It has A-GPS, dependent on Wi-Fi (or via broadband USB kit via micro-USB dongle). Fusion Bolt is comparable with Google Nexus 7, which doesn’t even have a rear camera (it has 1.2 MP front camera, though).
