Intel Optane memory now available locally for under Php3k

Remember the Intel Optane memory that was released back in April? We’ll that super fast intermediate storage solution is now available in the Philippines.

The 16GB Intel Optane module sells for only Php2,900 in PC stores locally (check out the nearest Villman in your area).

remember though that the Optane memory is not a standalone storage solution, but works in existing storage drive and memory. It creates a bridge between the DRAM and storage like a caching solution (think of it as a cache for your main HDD storage).

Intel claims it can help productivity apps load up to 580% faster. As for gaming, it can do up to 67% faster game launches and up to 65% loading times.
