Since the announcement of the 32GB model of the Nexus 7, the original 16GB model was reduced to a price tag of just $199PHP 11,678INR 16,865EUR 190CNY 1,448 in the US. Asus Philippines is finally set to release the 32GB in the Philippines this month, skipping the 16GB. Villman went ahead is now selling the 32GB.
We earlier reported that a confirmation from an Asus Product Manager points to November is the release date of the 32GB WiFi-only model of the Nexus 7.
The 32GB Nexus 7 is being sold by Villman at a retail price of Php13,995USD 238INR 20,217EUR 227CNY 1,737 which isn’t bad considering the internal storage.
We believe this is already the SRP (suggested retail price) set by Asus Philippines since the last time I talked to them, this amount was being contemplated.
Smart has also recently announced, via Twitter, that it will be offering the Nexus 7 soon and it will come with a plan. We think that model will be the 3G model of the 32GB and the plan will be included under the UnliData packages.

Smokescreen says:
I wonder what’s the official SRP per Asus. Villman’s is usually overpriced.
Abe Olandres says:
I think this is SRP already since the last time I talked to Asus, this figure was the one we were talking.
Fleeb says:
If that is the SRP then I expect to be paying the same amount for a straight CC payment. Baka biglang yan yung “discounted cash price” tapos yung “regular price” for CC transaction iba na.
Franz says:
kelan kaya yung may 3g lalabas nito? sana wag naman patungan ng mataas if ever. Ayos na ang price for the 32gb.
roiji says:

Still Overpriced buti nalang meron nang GCASH-AMEX virtual card pwede kang umorder sa google store tapos padala mo sa personalized US address and then you just need to ship it for $25 so all in all magastos ka lang ng $275 = 11,313php lol vs sa mga yan w/c is around 14k na
christian says:
na try mo n ba gcash-amex? how was it?
Potato says:

jacob says:
I asked the asus service center about a month ago regarding warranty coverage. They said that if the nexus 7 was bought in a country with asus global warranty, they would honor it.
Whether this holds true in actual practice is anybody’s guess.
Mr A says:
If the shipping cost holds true, then there would be other dealers that will on a much lower cost, maybe around 12-13K. While buying directly from google may cost you less, the risk of having your unit seized by a corrupt BoC or worse, missing is worth the extra the retailers or other dealers are charging.

I read somewhere Smart is going to offer Nexus 7 and the Nexus 4 soon. It’s best to wait before going on with Villman.
cindy says:

Lexty says:
@Ernie
Nexus 4 will be available on the first week of December. Limited stocks lang daw sabi ng LG Philippines.. it will be priced @ P24,990
chopotka says:
This is frigging overpriced! Hopefully I’ll get mine at 319 British pounds (roughly 21K if converted to peso) when my brother arrives from UK next week.
Abe Olandres says:
@chopotka – you forgot to add the 12% VAT.
cxx says:
I confirmed that 13,995 is for cash payment only. :(
David says:
The going price in the US is about $250 (~ P10,200). Even discounting the VAT (which is probably included in the P13,995), it’s about a 24% markup here.
Abe Olandres says:
You forgot to include the State Tax which is between 6% – 12% which is added after you make the order.
Jes says:
May price drop daw ang Nexus 7 16GB? http://www.t3.com/news/google-to-pay-difference-after-nexus-7-price-drop

marc says:
i can get nexus 4 at 18-20K only!
Phillip says:
congratulations
chopotka says:
@yuga
21K already included the 12% VAT, original price of Nexus 4 from Google Play Store UK is 279 pounds which is roughly 18K pesos.
Tina says:
Sa sulit.com may nagbebenta 7k lang..
Bar says:
Holy Sh…..
I just bought 16gb 2 Weeks ago, Now i want to sell it already, (if anyone intersted, hit me up) LOL
Luckily OTG is working very well with it. So 32gb is not an issue to me, but damn now it support data network connection. that’s sucks.
David says:
Well, I was trying to compare the price with the 12% VAT excluded, but I think I miscalculated. P13,995 – 12% = P12,315 (20% markup pre-tax).
You’re only only charged US state sales tax if you order something from a business that’s in your state. And some states have no sales tax, anyway. So its often not an issue for online purchases if you order from the right place.
CPA121424 says:
13,995 / 1.12 = 12,495. this
is how you deduct the 12% VAT. roughly it’s a fair price. ayaw mo na patubuin supplier? lol
ian says:
Guys…yung mga nasa US diyan kung gusto niyo ng walang state tax and shipping fees, wait niyo magrelease ng nexus 4 ang Macmall.com, =)
pia says:
out of stock in megamall, might arrive in december pa raw
mark says:
is this nexus 7 have a cellular data?
