Google’s YouTube will soon have a new Premium Lite plan for their users.

YouTube will implement a new plan for users who are interested in getting a Premium account. It is called Premium Lite and it allows users to watch videos ad-free. This plan will be implemented in Thailand, Australia, and Germany. This new subscription will go for USD 7.99/month.

Premium Lite will not give users the ability to access background play and download videos for offline use. They will also not have access to YouTube Music free of ads.

The company states that the this new plan will be available in the coming weeks. There is no statement on when it will arrive to the Philippines just yet.
