Canon organized a whole-day affair to celebrate the Philippine release of over 30 products in their line, including the much awaited EOS 5D, 50D and 1000D. The Canon EOS 50D on the other hand was first announced last August (see specs here) -- has a 15.1 megapixel sensor and an ISO of up to 12800. Those looking into the entry-level dSLR might wanna check the EOS 1000D, a 10.1 MP dSLR very similar in form with the EOS 450D. Among the dozens of new P&S cameras that Canon Philippines introduced yesterday, the Powershot D10 attracted the most curiosity. Actually, the Canon Powershot D10 can be considered as a submersible since you can bring it on a diving trip up to a depth of 10 meters (33 ft). Canon also included a number of face-plates you canchoose from. They did not give any price for this but it's already listed in Canon USA for $330.
