Sony Electronics Philippines today announced the arrival of the Sony BURANO, a new addition to its CineAlta family of digital cinema cameras. It also boasts the world's first in-body image stabilization (IBIS) for cinema cameras, compatible with both PL and E-mount lenses, allowing for smooth, handheld shooting. The Nikon ZR is now official as their first cinema camera developed in partnership with RED. The model combines Nikon’s autofocus and in-body stabilization with RED’s color science and video codecs, positioning it against cameras like the Canon C50 and Sony FX3 at a lower price point. For audio, the camera supports 32-bit float recording and features Nokia OZO surround sound with three built-in microphones.
