In line with Labor day on May 1, The Philippine National Railways and Department of Transportation announced that they'll be offering free train and Mass Rapid Transit - Line 3 (MRT-3) rides. The announcement for the free train rides came via PNR's Facebook. Both transportations will require commuters to present their company ID card to the ticket sellers to avail the free tickets. The free rides will be open to both public and private workers. The Department of Transportation (DOTr) and Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) are offering free rides to passengers experiencing issues with the new cashless payment system’s pilot run. To claim it, passengers must present proof of the failed tap-out transaction at any MRT-3 ticket booth.
