The Splash Drone 3 has finally hit Kickstarter to start its funding for production. The Splash Drone 3 can currently be pre-ordered on Kickstarter, with prices starting at $1,149. ZTE has launched a Kickstarter project for a smartphone that features eye-tracking and self-adhesive case - the ZTE Hawkeye. At CES 2017, ZTE has announced that the Hawkeye is now available for funding at Kickstarter at kickstarter.zteusa.com for a discounted price of $199. Last week, there have been rumors about the possibility of Fitbit fully buying Pebble, one of the well-known Kickstarter company. In a post on Kickstarter's website, Pebble confirmed that Fitbit has acquired their assets and they would no longer operate as an independent company. Billed as the first "cloud phone", the Robin smartphone from NextBit is now for public sale just a month after being shipped to its Kickstarter backers. For starters, the NextBit Robin is a smartphone made by former members of the Android team and was posted for a Kickstarter campaign to gain some funding.
