The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has launched its newest initiative to ease traffic situation in the Metro - the Traffic Signalization System. The Traffic Signalization System (TSS), is MMDA's new traffic management network that is capable of monitoring 400 intersections in Metro Manila using state-of-the-art equipment and software. said the government aims to finish the Metro Manila Subway project by 2028. The Metro Manila Subway is planned to be a 33-kilometer railway system. Foodie-centered app Zomato has just bid farewell to Metro Manila, as the restaurant-search-and-discovery service has decided to focus its operations in India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). During the app's stint in the country, most of its area of operations was in the general Metro Manila area. Opensignal's latest analysis on 5G experience of 11 biggest cities in Asia Pacific region showed that Metro Manila 5G performance ranked the fourth worst in download speeds at 150.7 Mbps and second worst in upload speeds at 14.4 Mbps. In other segments of the analysis, Metro Manila placed 8th in terms of 5G video experience at 71.6 score, and placed the last in terms of 5G games experience at 66.6 score on a 100 point scale.
