I think this could be the first time we are seeing a mobile phone that can reach 10.2Mbps on HSDPA and it comes from the new Nokia 6260 Slide. Nokia has even upgraded the S40 platform with the 6th edition. The design is similar to earlier models we've already seen like Nokia 6600 slide and Nokia 6210 phones. The Nokia 6260 will be released early 2009 when the Nokia E63 and the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic has been launched in the Philippines. Update: Nokia Philippines Corporate Communications left a comment below that this unit will not be released in the Philippines. The Nokia E51 first came out in September last year, it already got my attention. The Nokia E51 is a business/productivity phone so expect good connectivity options -- WiFi and 3.5G or HSDPA (3.6MBps). For a retail price of Php12,300, this unit is a great buy -- probably the cheapest full-featured business phone that went out of Nokia's doors.
