realme has announced the GT 8 Pro today, boasting the newest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a camera system powered by RICOH GR, and a quirky ‘switch design’ feature. The flagship chip gets paired with the Hyper Vision+ AI chip that allows gaming at 2K resolution and 120 FPS, at least according to realme. The phone ships with Android 16-based realme UI 7.0 with an update policy of four OS upgrades and five years security patches. It looks like the realme GT 8 Pro will have realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16 as its operating system. Vice President of realme China, Derek Lao Wang, has revealed the appearance of their next operating system update, the realme UI 7.0. It has been confirmed to launch with the realme GT 8 Pro.
