Nagpasya kaming kunin ang parehong iPhone 5S at ang iPhone 5C upang lubos naming maikumpara ang mga ito sa umiiral na iPhone 5 at makagawa ng mas mahusay na paghuhusga kung bakit Apple nagpasya ng dalawang SKU imbes na karaniwang isa.

Sa unang tingin pa lamang, agad naming nakita ang inspirasyon sa disenyo at mga materyales na ginamit para sa iPhone 5C. Hindi mo na kailangang tumingin pa sa ibang bagay kundi sa mismong iPhone -- ang 3G at 3GS.

Ang parehong polycarbonate shell na may ceramic finish na matatagpuan sa iPhone 3G/3GS ay muling binuhay, pininturahan ng pastel na mga kulay at ginamit sa iPhone 5C.

At kung ikaw ay sapat na ang edad na nagmamay-ari o gumamit ng iPhone 3G/3GS, mararamdaman mo ang parehong pakiramdam ng materyal at kalidad ng tapusin na inaalok ng pinong plastik na balutan. At lumalabas na talagang nagustuhan namin ang kabuuang pakiramdam. Ipinapakita nito ang impresyon na humahawak ka ng iPhone 5 na nabalot sa isang matigas ngunit napakapayat at makulay na gel case.

Hindi ito kasing manipis ng iPhone 5 pero napakamanipis pa rin; at sa kabila ng polycarbonate na katawan nito, mararamdaman mo ang bigat ng aparato sa iyong mga kamay. Hindi ito masama sa lahat. Sa totoo lang, nananatiling nakakagulat sa amin kung bakit mas mabigat ang plastik na iPhone 5C kaysa sa aluminyo‑na‑balot na iPhone 5.

Ang pagkakahawig sa iPod Touch 5th gen ay halatang-halata rin -- medyo bilugan ang mga sulok, makinis na mga gilid, napakakinis na tapusin at bahagyang kabataan -- oo, alinman sa gusto mo ang mga pastel na kulay o ganap na kinamumuhian mo ang mga ito.

The exterior of the handset is identical to the old iPhone 5C, down to the ports, physical buttons and environmental sensors. Under a microscope, the only difference you can find is the pin-hole for the noise-canceling microphones at the back.

The rest is a repeat performance of last year's iPhone 5.

Ang 5C ay may kasamang iOS7 mula pa sa kahon ngunit agad naming natanggap ang pag-update na 7.0.1 para sa mga pag-aayos ng bug at pagpapabuti.

Nakikita ko na mas madalas kong ginagamit ang iPhone 5C kaysa sa iPhone 5S. Marahil ito ay dahil ang una ay may pinakamalaking pisikal na pagkakaiba mula sa iPhone 5 na mayroon tayo sa nakaraang 12 buwan.

Even I know the answer to your question of why the 5C is heavier than the aluminum iPhone 5:

Yes, the 5C is plastic. HOWEVER it is reinforced with steel plates glued together to the plastic. Hence it’s heavier than the iPhone 5.

Santisima, pra kaung mga batang paslit nag aaway sa viva kendi mint hehehe.
Eto ang tunay na smartphone gamit ko,Vertu TI, titanium case in sapphire glass, android jelly bean sotware, bili ko sa california is $11K.
PS Yang iphone 5s, 64gb, pesos 20k lng sa grinhills sa mga tindahan ko iyan. Negosyo lang kahit kuha namin sa hong kong black market ay $80. Wag niu n pag awayan ang chipipay na apple.

It is actually cheap. It’s priced at $99 in the US, but under contract. Prices in the Philippines would greatly differ because of exchange rates and the networks’ subsidized amount for the devices. Unlocked phones, without contracts, are always expensive. Ganyan din naman ang Samsung and Blackberry prices.

Wait nalang tayo how much this would be offered by Globe or Smart. If they were able to offer the iPhone 5 at plan 1799, with a cash out of P4800, baka they would be able to offer the 5C at plan 999, cash out of P2500 or even for free. Dyan papasok yun ‘reasonably-priced’ iPhones, pero not with unlocked iPhones without contracts.
