Ripple Mini PC takes one off Mac Mini

Same look, just different color and comes with an Intel Atom CPU — the Ripple Mini PC is one of those new small form-factor desktop PCs wanting to grab a piece of the waning Mac Mini market. Still, they’ve shown you can make good use of an Intel Atom CPU beyond the UMPC niche.

This is actually the second of a series from South Korea-based MyRipple, named Ripple Mini Chocolate. The price — an estimated Php8,972 (209,000 South Korean won).

ripple mini pc

Powered by a 1.6GHz Atom CPU, maxes out the RAM at 2GB {via}. There’s a slot-loading optical drive too.

Not sure what kind of hard drive goes in there but I guess the 2.5″ type will fit just fine inside the 15×210x80mm body. No wireless connection for this one, just gigabit ethernet. But that doesn’t prevent you from hooking it up with a USB WiFi dongle.
