Firefox 5 now ready for download

Looks like Firefox 5 is now ready for download, ahead of its official public release. It’s a bit of a surprise considering we’ve just had a taste of Firefox 4 several months ago.

There’s not much cosmetic difference between FF4 and FF5 and most of the improvements are found under the hood.

You can get Firefox 5 for Windows here and for Mac here.

Downloading. I wonder why for 3 times now my download has failed. I tried to Firefox Update, but it just got Version 4.0.1.

Has anybody else made a successful download from the link above?

Nice, another upgrade, since am loyal user of Firefox am still using FF 3.6 for my desktop, and FF 4 for my laptop, i think this is the right time to upgrade my FF 3.6 ü

It’s beta, was released last June 15, 2011 – that is why people are still getting 4.0.1 as the latest, up-to-date version.

Tapos na ko mag-download. Ganon pa rin hitsura. Ewan ko kung ano ang nagbago. IE9 kasi ang gamit ko sa W7. Ang Firefox ko pang-porn lang.

i just recently updated my pc via windows update and i noticed that the version of my IE9 has been changed to “9.0.1″. and then when i saw this, i was suprised…another new upgrade for my browser.

it seems that every browsers are having a race for ultimate supremacy.

i hate google chrome because no matter how many times you delete the “google update service” on the start-up, it keeps on re-appearing over and over again. this worries me a lot since i don’t know what information could that service get from my computer. the same goes for other google software. i can’t trust google anymore because they are installing some bloatware that simply keeps from starting up no matter how many times you delete it.

i’m just expressing my opinion. software publishers like adobe and google loves to bundle some annoying startup services on your computer.

Kailangan mo is i-delete yung GoogleUpdate sa task scheduler. Kahit wala siya sa startup, since naka-sched siya, magrurun yan talaga.

Or gumamit ka nalang ng chromium build, pero wala siyang update, so kailangan mo i-download yung bagong build kung gusto mo mag-update.

  14. abacus says:

    i’ve done that already buddy.
for an average user, they might found that service way too annoying.
