Click the City Android App

Was able to check out the pre-release version of Click the City’s Android App. This is basically the same app they have for the iPhone and iPod Touch I tried out late last year.

The most useful feature “Search Near Me” is looking better with additional functions such as restaurant menu and show in map. The map shows where you are and where the chosen restaurant is as well as an estimated distance (in meters) for the location.

Apart from restaurant listing, its got movie skeds and TV show listings as well as event and show schedules.

The app will be released by July and will have an estimated license fee of Php250 annually.

ClickTheCity.com? di ba Pinoy site yun?? and they’re charging PhP250.00?

I wonder why the subscription for the Android version is 250 when the Apple version is just below 200. Does this mean that this will be a free download (free to dl but pay to use for one year)?

Still, it’s just 250 bucks, I won’t be a cheapskate on this one.

+1 on the yuga Android app too. :D

250 annually? Hmm, Im not sure why it wasnt released as a free app. Are there any other features that we should be aware of, sir Abe? Otherwise, it is noting different from Google Maps.
