An early peek at the rumored Galaxy Note 3 Lite/Neo

SamMobile has recently posted a picture of what is believed to be the Galaxy Note 3 Lite/Neo (SM-N750) besides the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N9005).

The frontal shot shows that GN3 Neo (left) is a tad shorter than the Galaxy Note 3 due to its smaller display. Meanwhile, the picture of its back tells us that the rumored handset inherits the faux-leather backing of its big brother.

Lucky for us, we also have a pretty detailed specs sheet to go along with these leaked images courtesy of the folks over at GSMArena. According to the pictures taken by an unnamed tipster, the Galaxy Note 3 Neo will have a very similar feature set to the Galaxy Note 2.

That includes a 5.5-inch S-AMOLED display with 720p resolution, an 8MP rear camera and a 3100mAh battery. In fact other than the dimensions, everything else is identical to the previous Galaxy Note model.

Everything, except the processor. Based on the leaked catalog, the Galaxy Note 3 Neo will run on an unannounced “Hexa-core” processor which consists of 1.3GHz quad-core processor and a 1.7GHz dual-core chipset.

SamMobile’s tipster backs up this claims and stated that the GN3 Neo will indeed run on Cortex-A7 Exynos 5260 Hexa-core SoC together with a Mali-T624 GPU. The tandem delivered a very promising result when their informer ran the AnTuTu Benchmark test on it.

After doing some reading about this hexa-core stuff, I’m a little bit confused. Is this much better than an octa-core processor? It sounds much better, but having multiple quad/dual-core, mas maganda ba yun kaysa sa isang processor pero octa-core?
