Motorola announces two new MotoMods

Motorola has just announced two new MotoMods that add to the existing lineup of accessories for the company’s Moto Z. The new Mods are called Mophie Juice Pack and Incipio Car Dock that give a hint on what they’re used for.

The Mophie Juice Pack is a case that gives additional 3000mAh battery to the Moto Z. Its rear features a 4-piece LED indicator and a USB Type-C port for charging separately from the phone.

Meanwhile, the Incipio Car Dock (as you may have guessed) is a mount for when the user is driving. It attaches to the air vent and once the phone is docked, it automatically launches Android Auto which could be pretty convenient. It also charges the phone through a 3.5mm jack.

The Mophie Juice Pack is priced at $79.99 while the Incipio Car Dock will have a price tag of $64.99. These two accessories add to the current Hasselblad True Zoom, JBL SoundBoost, and Moto Insta-Share Projector Mods.

Motorola is no longer the same brand as before. First, the company was bought by Google – it still functioned as a phone maker company which was good because it received software support from Google. Then the company was bought by Lenovo – this was the point where Motorola died as a phone maker company, “Motorola” is just a product line up under the Lenovo brand. I will give it another year so, before it fades to obscurity like Nokia..
