Vivo sneakily launched a new smartphone in China dubbed the Y83. What’s interesting here is that the device is the first to sport MediaTek’s Helio P22 chipset, which was announced just a few days back.
The Vivo Y83 eerily resembles Apple’s iPhone X, from the curved edges up to the notch. As for the rest of the specs, we have a 6.22-inch 19:9 HD+ display, 4GB of RAM, 64GB internal storage, Android 8.1 Oreo, and a 3,260mAh battery. For cameras, we have a single 13MP rear and 8MP front. The phone is priced at ¥1498 (~Php 12,318) and is now available in China. No word yet on local availability and pricing.
