Gigabyte’s entry to the UMPC market looks impressive. We spotted one yesterday during the Intel Atom launch, along with half a dozen other netbooks and nettops. This could be the Gigabyte M912V tablet with touch screen panel.

It has an 8.9†LCD touch screen panel with WXGA 1280×768 pixel resolution.

Comes with Intel Atom 1.6GHz, 1GB RAM and 160GB HDD.

WiFi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth, 3 USB ports, and card reader.

There’s an optional ExpressCard for 3G/HSDPA expansion. The webcam is 1.3MP.

Runs Vista Home Basic.

Wasn’t able to meet the reps from Gigabyte so I sent email yesterday to ask for availability and suggested retail price.
Will update this post once we receive more info.
