If you think Windows-based machines are the only ones that can carry the “All-in-One” title then think again. HP has just announced the Slate 21 AIO, an Android desktop tablet that is powered by a Tegra 4 CPU.
The Slate 21 AIO sports a 21.5-inch 10-point touchscreen display with IPS and full HD resolution. It has built-in dual speakers with DTS technology, HP’s TrueVision HD Webcam camera, and support for Wireless Direct wireless printing technology.
Powering the device is Android 4.2.2 Jellybean and Nvidia’s Tegra 4 processor. At this standpoint, it’s clear that the Slate 21 AIO is more of a home entertainment product than serious prdouctivity tool.
As for the pricing and availability, these are yet to be announced.

Weird. I wonder how it works for certain apps which are locked on the portrait position (considering the stand seems to be fixed at landscape)?
Spot on. This is why Android won’t really suffice for desktop computing. When we talk about desktop computing it’s all about doing intensive work or your PC something that Android can’t offer because of the limitations of the ARM architecture and the OS itself.
I’d rather have a bulky yet powerful desktop than this light and limited Android AIO if I want to get my work done. I’m a programmer.
What?! Android on a desktop pc??
Gonna try Temple Run on this! LOL
According to CNET starting price for this one is US$359 (approx Php14719)puwede na.
