They will also have Windows 7 Professional pre-installed. Sony stresses that this model is primarily targeted towards businessmen and not regular customers.
This rig is so thin at 0.55 inch or 13.9mm and made of carbon fibre. For perspective, check out the comparison between this notebook when placed side by side with an iPhone 3G. If you’ve noticed, the only factor that’s stopping this ultraportable from going any thinner is the VGA port.
The Vaio X will be available in Sony Stores (MegaMall, Mall of Asia, Park Square 1) by October 15, 2009.
Can I just now say such a relief to discover one who truly knows what theyre dealing with on-line. You actually know how to bring a concern to light and earn it crucial. Lots far more individuals need to look at this and see why side of the story. I cant believe youre not a lot more popular because you definitely develop the gift.
it has the same specs as a very good VAIO P.
but the price is really different.
Sony Philippines sell it at 100k php, when you can get it roughly half of the price if you bought one in Japan.
@bench – Toyota 82? hehehe
@Pusang Kulog – I think 4GB is max for the Timeline.
@Arnel – madami, try this “Sub 30k Laptop Alternatives“
hello Yuga :)
my budjet is 30thousand
mkkabili na po ba aq ng good specs,
na laptop?
i need ur suggestions?
tnx
more power YugaTech
Thanks yuga… Looks like the Acer Timeline Series has an upgradable memory…
will buy an second hand car with this price…he he he
sana maganda ang kasama ng package. :)
@ernie, as mentioned above, it’s pre-installed with Windows 7 Professional.
Just one question, is it pre-installed of what OS?
@pusang kulo – Acer has something closely similar with their Php55k Timeline series. As for the specs, I don’t think you can upgrade it anymore since the DIMMs are embedded into the board.
I hope ACER and the others do something like this… For sure the price will be much lower…
I was wondering if you can pump up it’s memory, say for example, up to 4 or 8 Gb?
Pang porma , carbon fiber meron sa hood ng auto ko bakit pang racing ba ang ATOM lols i rather buy a Intel Core I 7 .
Certainly nice and definitely unaffordable to most of us (moi, included). lol!
i would probably just hit a macbook if i have money ranging this. full pledged laptop pa.
but to each his own.
@reel advice – this is actually less expensive than they’re best-selling business-class Vaio T at 120k.
Good looking but darn expensive. maybe even businessmen will have a hard time buying this one!
so darn expensive… (jealous)
another good-looking notebook from Sony. nice!
