One of the things that got some people going for iOS devices are the apps and one of the apps that people are flocking to is Instagram. After a long wait, Android users no need to envy further as the beloved photo sharing app is now available in the Google Play Store.
If you’ve been living under a rock, Instagram is a photo sharing app that lets you capture images, apply cool effects then share it with other Instagram users. You can also view images uploaded by your followed friends, giving you a chance to like it or post a comment.
It was rumored that the Android version will be better than its iOS counterpart so I did a quick comparison.
Turns out, the Android version is missing a feature that its iOS brother has and that is the selective focus tool. With the filters, I managed to spot a difference and that is the X-Pro. Android has “X-Pro†while the iOS version has “X-Pro II.â€
The Instagram app for Android has been made available on April 3, 2012 and at the time of writing, already been rated by 8,000 users.
It’s in version 1.0.0 and requires Android version 2.2 and up. Searching the word “Instagram†on the Play Store won’t quickly show you the app so to make it easier you can download it through this Play Store link.
Note: Android phone used is the Sony Xperia S.
Nothing special about it so why the fuss? Tried it on my Note, but uninstalled it. Pixlr-o-matic is way better, IMO.

At sa mga ayaw sa iphone jan, hindi niyo lang afford kaya nagandroid kayo.

Haha ang feeling naman nung iba (di ko nilalahat iphone users).may kilala ako, makapost sa instagram, wagas. Sosmaryosep, iphone 3g lang naman gamit. Haha Wag masyadong wild magreact ang iba dyan, android will survive without this poser app.

Sa lahat ng ayaw mapagana sa low end devices, try rooting your device and then install chainfire 3d together with plugins.
Did Android really need this? There are so many fancy camera apps in the Play Store. Is it the social sharing part that makes Instagram so different?
Ano ba yan? Let’s stop hating and just appreciate what is happening. I love both Android and iOS pati BB OS. Am using Galaxy Note but love ko din ang apple. May mga bagay na good ang isa at ang isa ay hindi, gaya nalang ng pagiging open system ng android na wala sa iOS pero ang mga android phones meron ding features na wala na meron sa iOS gaya nalang ng autofocus at face detection sa front (videocall) camera at superb hardware/software integration.

kasi ang kailangan na storage sa instagram for ios ay malaki kasi hindi kakayanin ng bulok nilang iphone. Any way f*ck its not compatible with my sgy pro, fortunately 3 ang aking android devices. So napagana ko sa 2 pa.
