The Direct Carrier Billing from Globe started its service since June 18 which allows Globe Postpaid, Prepaid, and TM subscribers to charge their Windows Mobile Store purchases to their postpaid bill or prepaid load — eliminating the hassle to provide all the details for credit card payment.

“This new innovation that will benefit our customers using handsets running on Windows OS is another testament to our thrust to bring the country to the global digital landscape. The expansion of our direct billing service to cater to purchases via the Windows Mobile Store now presents a truly hassle-free and content-rich mobile experience to all our customers using Windows phone devices,” says Griselda Go, Vice President for Content at Globe.

To access the Windows Mobile Store, users must first set up their device’s location to determine which Windows Mobile Store catalog and payment options will be made available on the device. The app will automatically recognize Globe as the mobile phone’s carrier and will determine it as one of the payment methods available.

I already tried 1 app from autodesk @179.75 pesos using my Globe premium plan and it is so easy to use and fast. No more hassle for bank transaction with your credit card. It is nice way to purchase app by charging it to monthly bill.

Thanks now I can charge my app transactions thru globe monthly bill, it would be nicer if they could itemize your purchases since they use paperless billing.

FINALLY! though I already use the GCash AMeX method. Matagal magsetup kasi ng GCash AMeX maraming gagawin. Mas madali yung Direct Carrier billing kung para sa apps lang.
