Google brings new features to Chrome

Listen to article

Google has added two useful new features to Chrome that can make browsing easier and cleaner.

The first feature enables users to move their open tabs from the browser’s top section to the left sidebar through its vertical tab function. The system provides users with better tab management capabilities because it allows them to view multiple tabs simultaneously, which benefits users who frequently visit multiple websites. Users can turn it on by right-clicking a Chrome window and choosing “Show Tabs Vertically.”

The second feature is reading mode. The system removes all nonessential elements from a webpage, including advertisements and visual distractions, which enables users to concentrate on reading the primary content. Users can activate the feature by right-clicking a page and selecting “Open in reading mode.”

These features have been available in other browsers for a while, but they are now finally coming to Chrome. For many users, this should make browsing feel more organized and easier to enjoy.
