Remember Amazon Echo, the personal assistant in any room that is always listening to take in your command? Here is Google’s own take when it comes to having your own virtual assistant at home.
Google Home uses the new Google assistant algorithm with its understanding of natural language. It’s basically a smart speaker with support for Google Cast that talks, connects and thinks to help you with your everyday task, seamlessly. It will be able to interact with your connected devices like lights, cameras, thermostats, and other small appliances. It will fulfill the duties of a central hub for IoT or Internet of Things.
The device looks like a small decor for your home with a few customization options plus the iconic multi-color dots of Google lighting up when used. It’s will launch later this year in the US.
