YouTube testing AI tools to help creators with brainstorming

Listen to article

YouTube AI tools have been in development to help creators with brainstorming for ideas with their next video.

As of late, YouTube has been rolling out new AI-related features to enhance the platform. While many of these have been experimental, the latest feature aims to help creators come up with new content ideas.

On YouTube’s support page, the company announced that they’re working on generative AI. The integration will work as a content inspiration tool for creators. This tool is designed to help creators brainstorm what to share on their channels.

Google noted that this tool can be used to help creators understand their audiences better, while creating videos faster. The tool will generate ideas for three things, including the following:

What kinds of content or topics your viewers want to see more of
Fresh angles for creative content you haven’t made in the past and could explore
Outlines or talking points to jump start your creative process

If you’re a creator and want to try this out, you have to hope that you’re selected for the experiment. The test is only rolling out for a small number of channels that publish videos in English.

However, Google left this opportunity open for expansion. The company noted that they’ll give us an update on their plans for the YouTube AI tests when available.
