We posted yesterday about a leaked specs sheet of the upcoming BlackBerry 10 Laguna smartphone carrying a 4.2-inch display with dual-core processors. Now those specs are about to be blown away by the quad-core packing BlackBerry 10 Aristo.
For starters, the BlackBerry 10 Aristo has a 4.65-inch OLED display with Samsung-developed OCTA Glass technology that makes the Aristo the thinnest BlackBerry yet at 8.85mm. It also has a resolution of 1280 x 720 which calculates to 315 ppi. As a comparison, the display on the HTC One X has 312 ppi. Powering the device is a quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm APQ8064 Krait processor and 2GB of RAM.
BlackBerry 10 Aristo specs:
4.65″ OCTA Glass OLED (1280×720), 24-bit color, 16:9
Qualcomm APQ8064 Krait Quad Core 1.5 GHz
2GB RAM
16GB Flash
microSD up to 16GB
8MP AF camera with Flash, 1080p recording @30fps
2MP front-facing @720p
LTE
WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/m, 4G Mobile Hotspot
NFC, Micro USB, Micro HDMI out, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0
2800mAh non-removable battery
BB10 OS
136x68x8.85mm
Judging from the specs, the Aristo will be RIM’s flagship while the Laguna will be its mid-range candidate. If this is the case, does this mean we’re going to see an entry-level BlackBerry 10 device soon?

Finally, something to look forward from RIM.
Seems about right. I just love their innovative “maliit” virtual keyboard.
