Google rolls out noise cancellation on Meet app for GSuite customers

Google will roll out the noise-cancellation feature on Google Meet for GSuite customers who access the app on their mobile devices.

As posted by Google on its GSuite feed, the feature “intelligently filter out background noise” on Android and iOS devices. This removes distracting background noise from the user’s audio input on their device to make better and clearer voice and video calls.

By default, the noise cancelation feature is turned off on mobile. However, it can be turned on while on a call by accessing the call’s settings.

The feature was initially available for the web version of Google Meet.

The release of noise cancellation on the Google Meet mobile app has started on other countries except South Africa, UAE, and the immediately surrounding areas.  It can be enjoyed by G Suite Enterprise and G Suite Enterprise for Education on their iOS and Android phones.
