Thank you for this article. Very helpful. The GSMarena specs were misleading, we need more contextualized articles of these hardware as they become available in the Philippines

Almost same specs and price as Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro (as per previous Yugatech article)

Because of the article in Yugatech in 2017, I was able to buy and enjoy Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro. I was a long time iPhone user (since 2007)

3gb ram and 32gb rom? But in gsmarena it says 4gb ram and 64gb rom. Kindly verify, else you are posting false info.

Before you tell us we’re posting false info, the specifications for the local variant of the Galaxy J8 is NOT GSMArena but Samsung Philippines. https://www.samsung.com/ph/smartphones/galaxy-j8-j810/SM-J810YZPDXTC/

Samsung may release devices of the same name around the world but key specifications may vary in countries where it will be offered.
Example: Galaxy S9 in US: Snapdragon, Asia: Exynos.
