The Samsung Galaxy Buds Core is the brand’s next budget earbud

Listen to article

If you remember the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE from 2023, they’re a pair of budget-friendly wireless earbuds that offer a lot of the higher-tier models – at a fraction of the price. Now, the Korean tech giant is looking to follow up its smash hit with another option that won’t break the bank. Say hello to the Samsung Galaxy Buds Core. These aren’t official just yet, but they’ve been spotted in multiple of the company’s support sites.

The reason why the Buds FE became such a popular choice was because they seemingly had it all. Or, at least, everything that matters to the everyday consumer. It possessed reliable Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, tried-and-tested Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), support for multiple codecs, several onboard microphones for improved call quality, and a 6-hour battery life (with more than three recharges available).

On top of that, it has optimized software optimization with Samsung devices, of which there are plenty.

Fresh off the press: the Samsung Galaxy Buds Core are going to be released as the successor to these buds. Multiple Samsung support sites such as the Philippines, India, Turkey, Russia, the UAE, and others now have these buds under a SM-R410 serial number. To add to the legitimacy of these claims, the Bureau of India Standards (BIS) has already approved certification of this product.

Not much is known about it at the moment. Some hypothesize that this wasn’t called the “Samsung Galaxy Buds FE 2” due to the fact that there may be drastic differences in design, feature set, and/or any other major characteristic. They may even look more identical to the stemmed aesthetic of the Galaxy Buds 3 or possess advanced AI integration.
