Xiaomi has just announced its newest entry-level smartphone, the Redmi 12C.
The Redmi 12C will pack a large 6.71-inch HD+ display and will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 Soc.
The 12C will also have a 50-megapixel rear camera and a 5,000 mAh battery.
Like most entry-level smartphones, Xiaomi will be offering the Redmi 12C in a ton of cool and fun color options, namely: Shadow Black, Dark Blue, Mint Green, and Lavender.

In terms of pricing, the Redmi 12C will be priced at RMB 699 or around Php 5,655.45 for the 4GB RAM, 128GB storage base model; the 4GB RAM/128 GB storage at RMB 799 or Php 6,464.53; and the top-speck 6GB RAM/128 GB storage option will be RMB 899 or Php 7,273.60 (RMB 1 = Php 8.09).
The Redmi 12C is slated for release in China on January 1. However, its availability in the Philippines is yet to be announced.
