X-Play Online Games Inc., a subsidiary of IP e-Games, and its partners brings us the latest iteration of 2K Sports’ highly anticipated NBA game, the NBA 2K13.
Executively produced by the popular rapper and producer Jay-Z, the NBA 2K13 brings a lot of in-game goodies to keep basketball fanatics hooked to game. Apart from the improved gameplay which gives gamers more control over their player, Take Two Interactive Software Inc. took it to the next level by giving each player their own unique abilities that, if used correctly, can make any gamer’s team invincible.
The game developers also introduced the use of VC or Virtual Currency that gamers can use to purchase clothes, shoes or skills for their player. Players earn VC by attaining an achievement so it’s kinda like Skill Points from the previous versions of the game; only this time we’ll have more things to spend our hard-earned VC on.
Another thing that’s new to the game, and my personal favorite if I may add, is the NBA 2K13 Shoe Creator which gives gamers the freedom to design and customize their player’s shoe. And to add more flavor, the devs made sure that the graphics are top-notch so that users can virtually see the difference in the material used on the shoe (eg. Rubber, Plastic, Suede, etc.).
NBA 2K13 is available for XBOX, PS3, Wii, PSP and PC, but it doesn’t stop there. 2K Sports doesn’t want us to miss out on our favorite game when were away from our beloved console or gaming rig. So in addition to the platforms mentioned above, the game is also available on Android and iOS.
