On Question 18, how sure are you that the correct answer is just 3GB on a 32-bit? 4GB is usable but only reports less than 4 GB due to calculations limit.
agree
hi sir, if you are really knowledgeable about computers, you should know that 32-bit operating systems have 3 GB barrier.. BTW.. i’m an IT student and I already know this.. you should have known better..
I agree on this. Only 4gb and above is wasted. So 4gb is counted, it’ll only use up to 3.5 GB the rest is for the hardware system use
Lol. best reply ever: i’m an IT student and I already know this.. you should have known better..
Apparently they do not teach manners in school anymore
I’m quite sure that the x86 limit is at 4GB, if you don’t consider the other peripherals which uses memory such as built-in graphics adapter, BIOS, etc. BTW, I’m a Network System Administrator which manages hundreds of 32-bit and 64-bit computers and I already know this.
@RECC and Yugatech,
Just so you know 32-bit computing CAN access up to 64GB using PAE (Physical Address Extension) but for an average user, you won’t run a server OS. BUT STILL, on 32-bit computing, you’ll have 4GB (4,294,967,296) accessible 32-bit addresses. This is the only incorrect answer I got on this test. And I don’t care if you’re an IT student because I’m already a professional doing what you are just trying to learn.
13/ 20 tricky questions.
Shiould have added a rating (ie Geek, Nerd, all the way down to a moron), that would have make it more humorous and fun.
15 out of 20 ako hehe. mapapaisip kadin pala.
hindi ba computer processor yung Tegra?
processor yun ng graphics. Tegra, Geforce, Quadro.
Tegra is still declared as a mobile processor.
A computer can have a mobile processor. Technically, a smartphone with an OS is a computer. But perhaps a desktop is the only thing that counts.
