Facebook introduces Live Audio

Facebook has introduced a new way for users to go live on Facebook – Live Audio.

As the name of the feature suggests, Live Audio lets you go live on Facebook with just your voice. It’s very handy if you don’t prefer using video.

Live Audio can also alert the broadcaster if their signal is low, while listeners can discover live audio content in News Feed, ask questions and leave reactions in real time, and continue to listen to a live broadcast while using the Facebook app.

Facebook will be testing Live Audio with several partners, including BBC World Service, LBC, Harper Collins, and authors Adam Grant and Brit Bennett. It will be more broadly available to publishers and people early next year.

Another great feature a lot of people won’t actually use! And what happened to the Messenger app? It’s now cluttered like garbage!
