Opera has finally opened public access to Opera Neon, its new experimental browser built for heavy AI users.
Previously limited to “Founders” since October, Neon is now in open beta and available for everyone on Windows and Mac. What makes it unique is Opera’s vision of an “agentic browser”, one that doesn’t just show websites, but can use AI agents to perform tasks and even build simple web apps for you.
Neon also includes access to Gemini 3 Pro and GPT 5.1, giving users powerful AI tools right inside the browser. However, there’s a catch: the service costs $19.90 ( PHP 1,175.15 ) per month. Still, Opera says it’s cheaper than subscribing to both AI models separately.
