The Acer Aspire Vero is a sustainability-focused laptop. Its chassis is made from 30% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic, and the keycaps use 50% PCR plastic. It features a unique, paint-free 'Volcanic Gray' finish and is part of Acer's 'Earthion' initiative. A special National Geographic Edition was also released, with a topographical map design on the lid, with purchases supporting the National Geographic Society.

Early notable models included the Acer Aspire One 103, a popular 10.1-inch netbook launched in 2009 priced around PHP 23,900 to PHP 25,995. The Acer Timeline series from 2009 offered slim designs with up to 8 hours of battery life. In 2010, the Acer Aspire AS4553 offered an AMD Phenom II triple-core processor for under PHP 30,000.

The Acer Aspire 5 unveiled in October 2020 featured 11th Gen Intel Core processors with Intel Iris Xe graphics and an optional discrete NVIDIA GeForce MX450 GPU. It offered up to a 17.3-inch Full HD IPS touch display, up to 24GB DDR4 memory, up to 1TB PCIe SSD storage, and an ergonomic hinge that lifted the keyboard for better typing comfort and ventilation.
