#Canon EOS R5 release date

Canon has launched two new full-frame mirrorless cameras, the EOS R5 and EOS R6. Additionally, both cameras now have two card slots, with the EOS R5 capable of accommodating one CFExpress card and one SD card, while the EOS R6 can accommodate two SD memory cards. Canon Philippines has officially revealed the local pricing and availability of the new EOS R6 V, a full-frame mirrorless camera aimed at photographers and content creators. The EOS R6 V features a 32.5MP full-frame CMOS sensor paired with Canon's DIGIC X image processor. Canon also equipped the EOS R6 V with Dual Pixel CMOS AF II, capable of subject tracking and face recognition for up to 100 registered people. The Canon EOS R6 V is available for pre-order through Henry's Cameras stores nationwide and during the Henry's Cameras Photo Fiesta from June 19 to 21, 2026 at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall. Canon has officially introduced the new Canon EOS R6 V, a hybrid-focused full-frame mirrorless camera designed for both professional video creators and photographers. His winning entry earned him a Canon EOS R6 Mark III paired with an RF 24-105mm IS STM lens, a major upgrade from the Canon EOS RP he used during the competition.
