Can I transfer my Globe eSIM to another device?

No, as of March 2024, Globe eSIM QR codes are for single-use on one device only. Activating the eSIM on a device ties it permanently to that device for now, and removing it denies the ability to reinstall it. Globe has advised users to wait for updates regarding this local eSIM functionality.

What is Globe's new Prepaid Traveler eSIM?

Launched in November 2023, the Globe Prepaid Traveler eSIM is a digital SIM designed for international tourists visiting the Philippines. It allows tourists to purchase and install an eSIM via the GlobeOne app before arrival, avoiding queues for a physical SIM. It is valid for 30 days, subject to SIM registration, and was initially available for iOS devices with Android support coming soon.

Is Globe charging a fee for late postpaid payments?

Yes. Starting December 1, 2023, Globe began charging a late payment fee of PHP 50 to postpaid subscribers for overdue bills. The company stated this measure is meant to encourage prompt payments and prevent service interruptions, affecting less than 5% of its subscriber base.
