Is the iPhone 7 still worth buying today?

According to our 2020 guide on older iPhones, the iPhone 7 can still be a decent option for casual users. Its A10 Fusion chip remains snappy for basic tasks and games, and its camera is considered up to par by older standards. However, its official price from Apple-authorized resellers was a hard sell compared to newer models like the 2020 iPhone SE. It was more reasonably priced from third-party sellers, with the iPhone 7 starting around ₱8,700 and the 7 Plus around ₱14,000 for the 32GB variant.

How much did the iPhone 7 cost in the Philippines?

The iPhone 7 had several official price points in the Philippines. At launch in 2016, it was offered by Globe with postpaid plans. In September 2018, following the announcement of new models, Apple Philippines dropped its official SRP: the iPhone 7 (32GB) was reduced to ₱28,990 (from ₱35,490) and the 128GB variant to ₱35,490. The iPhone 7 Plus (32GB) was priced at ₱36,990 and the 128GB at ₱43,490. Earlier price lists from 2017 also showed the 32GB iPhone 7 at ₱35,490 and the 32GB 7 Plus at ₱42,990.
